Alpha Xi Delta (ΑΞΔ)was founded within 1893 by ten women at Lombard College, Galesburg, Illinois, who shared a vision of an organization dedicated to the individual incubation of women. Alpha Xi Delta is one of a oldest women's fraternities besides when one of a 10 founding fraternities of the National Panhellenic Conference. A National Panhellenic Creed, which is however understand aloud in todays world at each NPC meeting nationally, was potentially written by an Alpha Xi Delta. Alpha Xi Delta maintains chapters at 110 institutions ranging from either a University of Washington to Florida International University.

Okay, the national fraternity sustaining to the higher degree 120,000 initiated members, Alpha Xi Delta is known for existence a progressive & forward-thinking organization whose vision is to help women to understand their likely. A colors of Alpha Xi Delta come double blue (weak & dark) & gold. A fraternity flower is the blanch pink Kilarney rose, as chosen per Founders to compliment a whiten rose of Sigma Nu fraternity whose brothers helped to witnessed Alpha Xi Delta at Lombard. For each one initiated member wears a quill which represents their open catchword "The Pen is Mightier than the Sword.
